Entering is consent. Everyone knows the rules. The rules are simple. You pay the insurance fee or you leave your weapons at the door. The crowd noise starts before you can see the pit. The smell of sweat and hot metal rises from below. Betting windows never close. Medical staff wait off to the side with the practiced calm of people who've seen everything. The Chrome Wolves run the pits but enforce a particular kind of neutrality — your faction doesn't protect you here, and neither does your reputation. What protects you is what you can do.
